Blonde. Belgian. Abbey beer cold-hopped with Saaz & Challenger. Floral aromas, green apple, hints of hops. Full and refreshing taste, dry finish.
Averbode Abbey, founded by the Norbertine (or Premonstratensian) monks in 1134, is located in the town of the same name in Flemish Brabant. Today the community consists of 70 Norbertine monks, faithful to the original ideals of prayer and pastoral commitment, but also ambitious with regard to the continuous development of the experience center and the development of a diverse range of beers, cheeses, bread, gingerbread and Speculoos. In 2014, a close collaboration with the Huyghe brewery began, resulting in a new beer and, in 2016, a 5000HL microbrewery
