Back in 1820, in Bologna, the Giovanni Buton Distillery was founded, thanks to the ingenuity of the Buton family, already an established producer of Cognac in the renowned Charent region of France. From the very beginning, the Trebbiano Bianco grape variety was the preferred choice for the production of our Brandy. After years of experimentation, in 1939, one of the most iconic spirits of our country was finally presented to the public: "Vecchia Romagna". This crucial brand is still characterized today by its unmistakable triangular-shaped bottle. Vecchia Romagna Classica is a brandy obtained from fine grapes distilled and aged for at least one year in oak barrels.
