The terroir from which ROSSO DI MONTALCINO is born is characterized by an altitude of 250 meters and a west-southwest exposure. The soil, of medium texture with clay and sand, offers the ideal conditions for the Sangiovese vine, cultivated with spurred cordon and guyot training methods. The density of the plants, between 4,000 and 4,500 per hectare, and the age of the vineyards, between 17 and 20 years, guarantee a high level of concentration and aromatic expression.
